Spend the day with CAFE and explore ways that current family business leaders can design a path for future generations to pick up their brushes and add their own colors to the family business landscape. CAFE Southwestern Ontario is pleased to announce the Chapters 4th annual event in partnership with the Business Families Center at the Richard Ivey School of Business.
Letting Go - The Art of Leadership Change is a half-day morning session which will look at ways in which the current leadership generation can begin a process of building for a handover.
Keynote: David Ganong, fourth generation of Ganong, Canada's Chocolate Family, is sure to capture and hold your attention as he shares the Ganong story of leadership transition.
This years event will also feature a Family Business Panel Session - family stories from business families that have worked on the process over a number of years. Business leaders Noah Tepperman of Teppermans and Rick Doerr of Westervelt College will be participating!
This exciting day will also include presentation of the Grant Thornton Achievement Award for Southwestern Ontario Family Enterprise of the Year 2007. This award celebrates local family business success. The event will be held at beautiful, historic and third-generation family-owned Sunningdale Golf & Country Club in London, Ontario, Canada.
